I graduated with an MA from the Literary, Cultural, and Textual Studies program at the University of Central Florida. I received a BA in English Literature at UCF in 2019.

My research centers on literary modernism, particularly Arabic modernism, and the way it redefines modernism as a whole. I am also interested in Arabic modernism and its relationship with the West: how Arabic writers situate themselves and their writing within the U.S.; and the way they established a literary society/culture within the West.
